About Us!
The D.C. Center For Community Involvement is a citizen initiative established to create a powerful organization and voice of like minded individuals who live in the District of Columbia and endeavor to bring positive, measurable change to the city as a whole and the many diverse neighborhoods in which we both live and operate businesses.
Community involvement is the basis for creating change. Examples include, but are not limited to; volunteerism, financial donations, skills-based volunteering, enduring nonprofit partnerships, and more. Also, the case for corporate community involvement has never been stronger.
In fact, the benefits of corporate community involvement are immense. It can provide positive returns to local charitable organizations, small businesses, and neighborhood communities as well as boosting the general performance of our organization.
We believe that as we build partnerships and working relationships with local community nonprofits and service-based organizations, neighborhoods are strengthened. Community involvement can improve our corporate citizenship and strengthen our ability to change the problems plaquing our city.
