Criminals 114 / Police 0, Zip, Nada…

police-dcThree separate shootings bring D.C.’s homicide count to 114.

  1. Friday 9/18/15 @ 7:45 p.m. – In the 1800 block of Harvard Street, NW, Charles Antonio Welch, 25, a resident of Fort Washington, Maryland, was found shot and later transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
  2. Saturday 9/19/15 @ 1 a.m. – 3200 block of 28th Street, SE. one unidentified adult male found shot and later transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
  3. Saturday 9/19/15 @ 4 a.m. – 2400 block of Elvans Road, SE., Deontray Ingram, 22, of Southeast, shot dead at the scene.

Shots Fired! So here we go again…

Its High Noon on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Kids and their parents are having fun onchpg the playground at the Columbia Heights Community Center, on Girard street in the Northwest section of the city, when a young man runs through with a gun shooting at others on or near the center. Fortunately no one was hurt; Police are still looking for the gunman. What’s it going to take before something terrible happens again?
