Today, the Concerned Citizen heard from sources inside the Office of Unified Communications, (DC911). It appears that the new director, Ms. Karima Holmes, is holding true to her word and moving forward to identify and correct internal problems within her agency by scheduling a personal 15 minute meeting for any employee that wants to speak with her to discuss issues and problems that plague the agency.
We think this is an impressive start to her administration and we applaud her efforts; however, the Concerned Citizen will continue to monitor activities and developments within the agency and report on the director’s progress for our tax paying citizens and the hard working employees of DC911.

We had hoped that the antagonistic managerial performance during the snowstorm and then the power outage at the OUC coupled with the CAD at the backup center not working would have been enough to make some real decisions. The present management of teddy kavaleri and his yes men cronies must be removed in order to bring the agency to the potential that it is capable of. There has been an exodus of good employees which was by design so they can be replaced with loyal, unqualified, incompetent yes men whose only duty is loyalty to teddy. Director Holmes, they are not to be trusted – watch your back!
I love our new Director!! She is definitely cut from a different cloth and seems like she will do her part as long as you do yours! She recently sent out emails telling everyone poor customer service will not be tolerated, I respect that and it didn’t offend me because it doesn’t apply to me. I love my job and helping the citizens.
My only complaint is Ingrid Bucksell, Yvonne McMannus & Alex Morris. Mr Morris had a habit of walking the call center floor at all hours recording those who had their cell phones & food out and any other ‘violation’ and reporting it to Bucksell. She then gave the supervisors holy Hell and it of course fell on the staff. Seriously since the new director has arrived he has stopped walking around recording us and Bucksell seems to have ‘toned it down’ not sure if it’s because they have been yanked at the collar but I do feel more ‘comfortable’ doing my job.
I don’t mind following rules but being harassed and intimidated is something else. I just wanted to say how things have changed for the better and I pray Ms Holmes brings her own staff (with a mindset like hers) and gets rid of the toxic non productive ppl who do not care about the citizens and staff and only about being bullies with big paychecks.
Surprised no one talked about Bucksell harassing the ELO firefighters and being cut back from the ‘fire side’ for her lack of professionalism and treatment towards them also…..

They have poisoned Marcellus Walker he one of them too.. He use to be okay but he’s been cut on and when that happens of course the cancer spreads. He use to be a regular employee, but now he’s just like them.
I guess when you give a person a rope, then they want to be a cowboy. He’s definitely forgot where he came from. So sad!
It’s simple the plague of the agency starts with INGRID BUCKSELL, Yvonne McManus ,Alex Morris! The intimidation! And culture if fear that is pouring out of this place is disgraceful !

I think you’re right five0, nothing will change up there until she kills the cancer and the high paid dead weight that’s been allowed to permeate in her administration for years.
By cancer, are you referring to bucksell, teddy, alex and all their cronies?
