This new slogan emerged as a real battle for the hearts, minds and wallets of D.C. Democrats is playing out nightly before surprisingly packed living rooms and backyard patios of the DC’s new bi-party curious. Muriel Bowser’s strategy has been to refuse to engage Catania in a head-on debate and to decline joint appearances, either of which could raise David Catania’s stature as a legitimate candidate. Instead, Ms. Bowser has assumed the role of mayor-in-waiting.
Well Muriel, the Concerned Citizen says, “Don’t Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch”. Many DC residents are tired of the `status-quo` and think the District’s old guard and their clones need to go.
